An international seminar entitled The Outlook Of Arbitration In Indonesia was held successfully on Thursday, July 25 2024, at the Pullman Thamrin Hotel, Jakarta, Indonesia.  The seminar was attended by around 130 participants from within and outside the country.

The seminar presented three sessions. The first session, Supreme Court Regulation Number 3 of 2023 concerning Procedures for The Appointment of Arbitrators by the Court, the Rights of Recusal, Examination of Requests for Enforcement, and the Annullment of Arbitral Awards. The second session was the Emergency Arbitration, and the third session was discussing ODR (Online Dispute Resolution).

The first session was moderated by Ira A. Eddymurthy (SSEK), featuring guest speakers HE Syamsul Ma'arif (Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia), M. Idwan Ganie (Ganie & Partners) and Adnaan Noor (Wong & Partnership, Singapore).

The Second Session on Emergency Arbitration, presented by 4 speakers, namely Ing Loong Yang (Hong Kong), Edmund J. Kronenberg (Braddel Brothers, Singapore), Eri Hertiawan (AHP Law Firm), and Joanne Lau (HKIAC). The discussion was moderated by Priskila Pratita Penasthika (University of Indonesia).

The third session was on the topic of Online Dispute Resolution, guided by Ulyarta Naibaho (ABNR), featuring Netty Muharni (Coordinating Ministry for the Economy), Pui Ki Emmanuelle Ta (e-Bram, Hong Kong) and Sinta Dewi (Padjadjaran University).

The end of the Seminar was closed with a Closing Remarks delivered by Huala Adolf (Vice Chairman of BANI Arbitration Center).
